Fund Launch Workspace

The launch workspace is where a fund goes from onboarding to its first governed live day. It tracks every prerequisite — data, signals, risk model, controls, operating profile — as a readiness checklist and surfaces a single go-live verdict that the cockpit consumes.
The readiness map
The workspace organizes go-live prerequisites into buckets and reports each as ready, not-ready, blocked, degraded, or no-data. Blocking gaps must be cleared before the fund can move to live operation.
- Data readiness — sources connected, freshness and coverage checks passing, point-in-time universe resolved.
- Signal governance — the strategy's signals registered and promoted to a live-eligible version.
- Pre-trade controls — risk model calibrated, capacity and borrow inputs present, restricted lists loaded.
- Operating profile — universe, schedule, risk/cost model, kill switches, and approval matrix configured.
Go-live verdict
The workspace reduces the readiness map to ready-to-go-live when there are no blocking gaps. That verdict drives the cockpit readiness pill, so the launch state and the daily operating state stay consistent.
Lifecycle context
The launch workspace covers the pre-onboarding-to-Day-0 window. After go-live, day-to-day operation moves to the cockpit while the launch checklist remains as the historical record of what was true at launch.
